How far back in my family tree can I go?
I can only go as far back as my grandparents. My daughter did research on the family tree. I did make notes but the paper is in my pile of notes. I had details of my grandfather’s brothers. Yet it has no signifigance to my life. My village in Jamaica is named after a plantation.

Why do I write?
I have something to say. Too often I read things and absorb knowledge without sharing. I read “you do not know what you believe until you read it”. I think there is some truth in that. For decades I have been telling myself stories or developing theories. I start to write but do not complete.
