Some one described life as a game. In my family that I grew up in that would be a game of cards. So I thought about a deck of cards. A deck is made of four suites, two are red and two are black. Yes our lives consist of past, present and future. The present is you reading this blog (or me writing it). Everything else is in the past or the future. Some say the past is fixed, but that is not true. The dates you went to school are fixed but how you feel about that time is changeable. That view can be very influential on your present and future life.

Nothing is more fixed than a red suite called Diamonds. The other red suite is the ever changing seat of emotions, Hearts. Therefore the black suites are the future. Some future events are time limited. For example you can only be a father while your children are still children in the eyes of the world. Other things can be done any time until the final count down to death starts. Even though fate or God can call time on our hand any time. So Clubs represent the time limited future as you need to club game (wild animals) while they are nearby. Spades are things that can be dug up when you are ready.

Below is an example of how I would complete the form.

In ♦Fixed past I would put “Born male on 15th November 1956.”

In ♥Interpretable past I would  put “What it was like in previous jobs.”

In ♣Future time limited I would put “Pay the mortgage off early (before 2025)”

In ♠Future any time I would put “Write a novel”

To use this method divide a page into four squares, one for each suite.
