After a tragedy or mental health crisis many people look for meaning. So they turn to religious bodies they know. Yet many mental health professionals regard this focus on religion as being an indication of illness. Part of the reason is some local outlets are toxic. So I give you some tips on how to find a local church, synagogue, mosque or temple to join.
