Everything in the universe is made from atoms. Each atom consists of electrons revolving around a nuclei. Each nuclei consists of protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons are constructed from sub-atomic particles. Quarks are one of those sub-atomic particles.

Every thing has developed from one neutron, one proton and one electron. The Hydrogen atom. Some claim all matter in the universe was spread around from the big bang. I cannot say. The fact that everything is made of the same atomic material can allow one to believe it evolved. Yet easily we could say that all creation is built on what came before.
