When walking round the Safari Walk in Nairobi National Park I noticed how the descriptions changed. On half the boards you had the usual quote “This feature of this animal evolved to do”. On the other the quote was “This feature of the animal was designed for”. Evolved and Designed are interchangeable as far as the logic of the statements. The only difference is design requires a designer and evolution is an accidental process. Scientific facts are not in conflict with creation.
Through this blog I am going to look at the science behind each day of creation according to Genesis. I am also going to look at other religious explanations of creation. Then I will write my own vision of the creation story based on 21st Century science.
